G. gt6uk Discussion starter. 14 posts · Joined 2016. #1 · Apr 4, 2017. i have a 2010 tdci that vibrates through the dash seats and steering wheel on idle and when revved to about 1500 rpm. when driving its not really noticeable but it all depends on outside temperature. the colder it is the worse the vibration and when it gets to about 12 The car is a 2007 mondeo 1.8 tdci. On smooth roads it's find, but the slightest of pitted roads and I get the sound. Also if I'm turning, say going round a roundabout an hit a slight bump I sometimes get a more metal on metal sound.
